On a GLP-1, tapering, or done:
every stage needs a plan.

The medication does its job. Protecting the results is yours, and it looks different on the drug, coming off it, and after. I'll show you what your stage needs: the protein, the muscle, the appetite strategy, and what to do so the weight you lost stays lost.

The challenges no one warns you about

🤢

Side effects derailing your progress?

Nausea, constipation, and fatigue are the top reasons patients quit GLP-1 therapy. Most are preventable with the right nutrition strategy.

💪

Losing muscle along with fat?

Research shows 25–40% of weight lost on GLP-1s can be muscle, not fat. Without targeted protein guidance, you're losing the weight that matters most.

🪞

Worried about loose skin?

Rapid weight loss can outpace your skin's ability to adapt. Collagen-supportive nutrition helps maintain elasticity during the transition.

Common Questions

Does this work for Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound?+
Yes. Fiorella works with patients on all GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP medications including semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound). The core nutrition principles apply across all of them, with adjustments for individual side effect profiles.
I've already lost weight. Is it too late to start?+
Not at all. Many patients come to Fiorella after significant weight loss. The focus shifts to muscle recovery, skin support, maintenance strategies, and ensuring you're nutritionally complete - which is critical for sustaining results.
How is this different from what my doctor told me?+
Your prescribing physician manages the medication. Fiorella manages everything around it - what you eat, when you eat, how to handle side effects, and how to protect your lean mass. They work together, not in conflict.
What does a session look like?+
Your initial assessment is 90 minutes and covers a comprehensive diet evaluation, nutrient assessment, and personalized meal plan. Follow-ups are 45 minutes and focus on adjustments, progress, and troubleshooting.
Do you accept insurance?+
Fiorella is an out-of-network provider. Many patients submit claims to their insurance for partial reimbursement. We provide superbills (detailed receipts) to make this easy.
Is my data private?+
Absolutely. Any health information you share is encrypted and never sold to third parties. You decide what to track, and you can request to export or delete your data at any time.
Is this medical advice?+
No. Fiorella provides nutrition counseling and education, not medical advice or diagnoses. She does not prescribe medications. Always work with your healthcare provider for medical decisions, including any changes to your GLP-1 medication.

Also navigating perimenopause or menopause?

One in five women 50 to 64 is on a GLP-1, and the two together need one plan, not two. This intersection is Fiorella's specialty.
